CERF Executive Director Matthew Fienup will present the 2023 Ventura County Economic Forecast publication, with in-depth analysis of the county’s economic performance in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, an update on the local housing market, and an assessment of the county’s economic and demographic future. CERF’s award winning United States and California Economic Forecasts will also be presented.
Featured Speaker Kimberley Strassel is a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board and writes the weekly column Potomac Watch. Ms. Strassel will analyze Washington’s “new abnormal,” noting that D.C. has been discarding norms at a rapid pace, she will discuss what’s behind it, what are the risks, and how to get Washington to work again?
